Description
BSA A10. Previously restored 10 years ago. Having done about 2500 miles since.
Plenty of invoices for engine rebuild. magneto. dynamo. rebuilt. 12volt electrics. electronic regulator. Everything works. charging. lights. horn. Manual magneto but still an easy starter. Quiet engine. not smoking. Rides well and steady. Chrome and paintwork is very good to excellent. I recently replaced the tyres and the dual seat. I also bought a British made new old stock petrol tank with excellent chrome but never got round to fitting it because the tank that is on is virtually unmarked. The sale includes the original flatter bars. I replaced them with higher bars to save my back. Also comes with as new rear carrier which I removed. easy to refit.
I bought it only 4 months ago and have done only 150 miles. But it's too heavy for me to manouvre and haul onto centre stand while on the move it rides really well. I'm now looking for something lighter postwar or early prewar. Willing to add cash for right bike.
If you can I would suggest viewing the bike and hear it running. The bike is in Durham. North East England. or can be collected from Blackpool. Lancashire with a bit of notice. This sale is cash on collection.
