Norton 16H WD

Norton 16H WD (1939 engine/ 1940 frame - they were mixed and matched in wartime) in excellent mechanical condition.  I have maintained the bike to a high order and she is absolutely sound but fought the desire to inappropriately restore the paintwork. only dabbling where necessary - as such she looks authentically scruffy in War Department garb! "The Mighty One" comes with panniers (date stamped 1954). WD sump guard. pillion footrests. a spare inner tube and a box of odds and sods.  
I have owned the bike for about 7 years.  In that time I have:
-Had the MagDyno professionally rewound and overhauled.
-Added an electronic regulator (in original type cover).
-Fitted complete new wiring loom about a month ago.
-Fitted replacement clutch plates.
-Fitted halogen headlight bulb.
-Fitted new brake shoes.
-Blasted and resprayed wheels as were just starting to corrode.
-New tyres and tubes less than 50 miles ago.
Also included in the sale is a Davida pudding helmet. gauntlets and vintage Gold Top boots (size 9).
I'm very sad to see the "Mighty One" go.  Reason for sale - new wife and 2 Border Terriers!
