Harley-Davidson XR1000 stunning Barn Find

Just extracted from 20 years storage in a dry garage. Genuine 715 miles only; original machine in untouched condition. These machines are extremely rare- so rare most HD enthusiasts don't even know what they are. They were fitted with the very powerful 1000cc version of HD's legendary XR750. and come as standard with twin 36mm Dellorto carbs. Cylinder heads for these were sent from the factory to California to be modified by the HD porting specialist Jerry Branch. The famous racebike "Lucifer's Hammer" was based on the XR1000. Needs new battery and a good clean along with the usual recommissioning. On a Q plate. not currently taxed or MOT'd. One UK owner. Cleared payment required in full prior to collection.
