You're looking at a ground up build of one of the most recognizable movie bikes of all time. Next to the Easy Rider choppers, the Black Death chopper is at the top of most of our lists. I've build a few in my life and this one is my best build yet. I spared no expense building this one with extreme passion and attention to detail. This is a brand new motorcycle from front to back. Every switch, hose, wire and breaker is new out of the package.
This bike has several rare or obsolete parts that haven't been available in decades. Here is a comprehensive list of the build components.
• S&S Super Stock V80 engine with around 70 miles on it. Makes 90 HP and feels incredibly strong in such a lightweight bike while eliminating the need for compression releases and hard starting. • 1991 FXR transmission case with new Jim's 5 speed gear set, shift drum and shifter pawl.
• 1990-93 Primary setup with a chrome inner & outer primary, fresh BDL clutches and all new seals and bearings.
• All Balls 1.4 chrome starter and one piece jack shaft.
• New chrome 40 spoke wheels wrapped in new tires.
• Correct PM brake calipers clamping on screaming eagle style brake rotors.
• Jaybrake wide band forward controls with custom movie bike style brackets. Correct early style pegs obsoleted long ago.
• Handmade gas tank and seat pan are well built and very movie correct. OEM HD speedometer just like the movie bike surrounded by a cats eye dash.
• Incredible craftsmanship went into this frame. Tons of research to be sure it was raked correctly and that all of the bodywork was spot on before show quality paint was applied. This bike rides incredibly well for a chopper. You can actually flick it around a little once you get it rolling.
• OEM chrome swingarm with a fresh BDL belt and billet style 70 tooth pulley.
• Stainless braided oil lines, clutch cable and brake hoses.
• Custom build wiring harness front to back all in protective loom.
• S&S Hi-4 single fire ignition and a high voltage coil firing Kuryaken laser modes through Taylor wires.
No disappointments, this bike is as nice or nicer in person and draws attention everywhere it goes. All the bodywork and paint is show quality and is top coated with urethane clear to minimize UV damage.
