Harley-Davidson FLHS Electraglide Shovelhead 1981

Here's a very nice original unmolested motorcycle. Imported this in from the USA a couple of years ago. The person I bought it off owned it for many years in his collection. He decided he would only have older Harley's in his collection. Hence this one came up for sale. t is a genuine 1981 FLHS.
It is correct as the frame number confirms it being a genuine "S" model. It is also correct because 1981 was the only year that short duel exhausts were fitted along with forward controls. The only other owner was the dealership it was bought from. So three owners in all including me.
The mileage reads very low 6911. Then I bought this bike I was assured the mileage was correct & personally I never doubted it. But I have no documentation to back this up. That I can say is this bike is totally original.
The paintwork has a few marks on the mudguards but the tanks are excellent. This bike is as good as you are going to find in its original state. It rides & sounds as a low mileage bike should. It being an FLHS makes it very rare too. The only non original thing is the exhausts but I have an original set which can be purchased separately to the motorcycle. The primary. gearbox. amp; ignition covers are not original. but I have all the originals which will go with the bike. This bike is in storage at the moment. used it in the summer & can have it running for anyone who is serious about purchasing the bike. This is not a concourse bike. but it is one of the best unmolested unrestored bikes I've seen.
The price of this bike is not cheap because it is a rare find in its own right. ever mind it's condition. The price is £8995.
