This is the one of the cleanest examples you'll find of an ‘81 Sturgis. I have the original owners manual and lots of paperwork included with the sale.
This FXB runs, rides and stops without any issues.
The tank has been cleaned and is full of fresh fuel, the carb has recently rebuilt and the plugs/wires are also new. The original ham can air cleaner has a fresh filter and the tires are in good condition, no cracking or dry rot. This bike is almost entirely original and shows very well. Typical paint chip here or there but overall the original lacquer paint still shines and looks good. No dents in any of the tins, beautiful survivor motorcycle from the last AMF model year.
This bike is ready to throw a leg over and ride.
The OEM carb has been rebuilt and the idle mixture plug was removed so this bike can be adjusted for optimum tuning. The 4 speed transmission shifts well and pops right into neutral as it should. This thing is ready to be shown in an original cruiser class, turn heads at your local bike night or bring back the memories of yesterday.
