Classic 1951 Triumph Trophy TR5

Here is my genuine 1951 Triumph Trophy TR5 for sale. I have owned this motorcycle for 24 years and restored it 1989 - 1994 in keeping with its original colours and specification. During 2011. carried out by an Engineering company. the engine was stripped. overhauled and rebuilt with new internals including std pistons. liners. valves. guides. bottom and top end bearings etc. I have covered only approx. 50 miles since the engine rebuild. so will require further running in.
3 owner history - The original owner purchased the bike new from a London Triumph dealer (MLX reg. no) late 1951 and sold it on in 1960. The second owner kept it for 29 years until I bought it October 1989.
This motorcycle includes the following:
All matching numbers. original re-chromed rims 20' front and 19' rear (pin-striped) rebuilt with stainless spokes. Avon Trial Supreme front tyre and Dunlop Trial rear tyre. sprung hub. beautiful Silver/Blue paint (this was a non-chrome tank model). rear and side stand. rebuilt magneto. recent clutch plates. bum pad is available but not fitted. original horn is also included but not working (newer type fitted for MOT purposes).
