1951 Triumph TR5 Trophy

1951 Triumph TR5 Trophy, matching numbers.
Fully restored. Has the original wide ratio gearbox it came out of the factory with. Numbers have been checked by the TOMCC in the UK. They have confirmed date of build as 11th December 1950 and dispatched to Colmore Depot in Birmingham on 22nd December 1950. Rechromed Jones rims with stainless spokes. NOS 20” Dunlop trials tyre on the front, modern 19” rubber on the rear.
All new bearings in the hubs, new brake shoes on the rear.
Engine totally rebuilt, sludge trap cleaned, new bearings and big end shells. Barrel re-sleeved back to standard with new pistons and rings. All new valves, springs guides etc. Alloy guards, lots of new parts. Pre-monobloc carb has been re-sleeved with all new jets and needle. New bearings and seals in the gearbox. New primary and final drive chains. New complete exhaust system. Rewired.
