Matching numbers 180 Jota coming to us from a large private collection of classic bikes recently purchased.

The condition of this Jota can only be described as good. There is a small graze on the stainless steel front mudguard. which could be removed by a professional metal polisher.

Leaving the Laverda factory in 1978. and exported to the UK the bike was originally finished in silver. repainted to a good standard in Jota orange some time ago it remains unmarked.

The bike has been fitted with a later front wheel to enable the fitment of a wider section tyre. Quite a common modification that the anoraks would dispute. None the less it puts more rubber down.

Talking of Laverda anoraks the VIN numbers are *6165* on both the engine. and frame if you want to check the bike out.

The bike has been stored for many years. and the successful buyer will need to recommission her before putting her back on the road. I can say with confidence that the brakes are free. and working well. The bike will start. and sounds mechanically solid with an awesome exhaust note.

Overall it appears a very good bike. Laverda owners will also know that the performance already awesome can be greatly improved by the fitting of a modern ignition system. This is true of this bike. but the choice will be with the new owner. who may wish to retain the originality. £8995.00
