1975 Kawasaki Z1B

We are delighted to announce that we have recently taken delivery of a superb Kawasaki Z1-B.
We found the bike in the US where it had been recently recommisssioned after spending some ten years or so in a private museum. The paint is the stock Candy Red which is correct for this model. and the only departure from stock that we have identified is the chroming of a number of additional parts on the engine and elsewhere.
We have carried out the following work since acquiring the bike:
• Strip and rebuild all four carburettors
• Remove engine
• Overhaul top end
• Fit new base and head gaskets
• Lap valves and re-shim. including new shims
• Fit new cam chain
• Re-fit engine
• Fit new spark plugs
• Fit new spark plug caps
• Fit new wiring loom and switch gear

The wheels rims. swinging arm and switch gear have the correct original dates on them for a 1974/75 bike. whilst the exhausts and silencers have been replaced with high quality new parts. The frame and engine numbers have been re-stamped in the US. These numbers match and the frame number is shown on the US title. We understand from a Z1 expert that this practice is common in some US states.
The bike has an MOT and UK registration with age-related plate. and runs and rides exactly as it should. This really is an excellent opportunity to acquire a high quality Z1-B.
