XJ750 Yamaha trike

1982 XJ750 YAMAHA TRIKE. Registered as a tricycle on V5. V5 is in my name. This trike was built by me over a 4 year period. I am selling this because I have just got myself another project trike (got to keep the brain active).

It has been fully sandblasted and painted or powder coated parts and body. All bodywork is made of steel. Rear mudguards are fiberglass. Front mudguard now fitted (not in photos)

The frame is 1982 Yamaha xj750. with a tube hardtailed chassis welded on where the original swingarm / top tube mounts where. The forks are from a Suzuki bandit. and have been extended 5. 5 " by All bike engineering. Original bandit front wheel with new tyre and bearings fitted. Brakes are Nissin 4-pots. It was running two calipers but I took one off due to it over braking. New headstock taper bearings. Bates headlamp. Harley ignition switch. small speedo with working led idiot lights. Bars are 1"1/4 apes made by Raw steel choppers. Stainless Braided brake lines fitted front and rear.

Engine has been rebuilt. carbs rebuilt. All wiring done by me. All original safety start features are still in use. Hazard lights fitted. Battery is gel type. and is in a ammo box. in the box on the back. and is fully removable. Exhaust modified with jones mufflers. (sounds mental). New propshaft. Diff (rs2000) fully rebuilt 3.54 with new inner and outer bearings and seals. Rear brakes (rs2000) fully rebuilt using new parts. Capri handbrake /cable. Rear wheels are wheel vintique 8x15 with new hub caps and beauty rings. New 225/70x15 Hankook tyres.

Side panels are secured by Deuz clips. when released you have full access to fuse box and cdi box and reg/rectifier. Ali chequer foot plates for passenger. Bootleg customs. forward controls. Seat and backrest have been recovered in diamond stitched leather. Rear box is a 1942 ammo box. It can fit two open faced helmets and other stuff in there. Rear bumper is stainless. rear lights are 29 model a Ford.
