Yamaha IT250 J

Selling my IT 250 J as I also have a IT465 J and cant use them both. t runs great and sounds great and it has an Answer end can fitted. Plastics are brand new from D&G. Rims are straight. It has a Clarke desert style fuel tank fitted which is ideal for the longer enduros. The seat has been cut down about 3 inches. I am 6' tall and I have no problem in fact it makes it a little better to get on and off. Overall its condition is really good its not been battered around. Obviously its been used so has the usual scratches and marks on it. well it is 33 years old. All the lights work.
The IT is not fitted with your standard DT engine. They are based on the YZ 250 and perform accordingly. In reality its a moto cross engine in road going trim they make over 32 BHP and were reputedly faster than the 400 as described in many test reviews. hey are billed as a fast. tough. ready to ride reliable bike.
Its not yet registered for the UK roads but i do have all the required documents to make it happen in 10 days apart from the MOT. inc. dating cert and NOVA document etc. if your worried ill show you how to do it easily. It would pas daytime mot easily with a horn and a rear reflector fitted.
its only been used a couple of times in the last year off road.
