This fantastic new build British trials bike has never been ridden in a competitive trial since being finished. Runs. rides and sounds a treat!
All Alloy Short Stroke "GRUNTY but SNAPPY" 460cc 1958 engine.
This was done using 16MS motor with JAWA speedway flywheels. BSA B50 piston. Weslake Speedway connecting rod. Alloy sandcast sortened cylinder/barrel. Alloy push rod tubes. Belt Drive Electronic ignition. AMAL concentric "PREMIER" carburretor (one of the NEW expensive ones!). Competition-Wide ratio trials gears fitted to AMC gearbox with clutch cable moved to rear of gearbox. Clutch lightener fitted to cable. Alloy NEB speedway clutch with 20mm belt drive. Billet rear alloy hub. Akront wheel rims with stainless steel spokes. Renthal alloy handlebars and grips. AMAL levers. Domino throttle. AMC alloy competition yoke. Modified AMC forks with modern internals 35mm. hand made alloy fuel tank with brass tap. Stainless steel exhaust + neat Alloy silencer under seat (exhaust gasses blow onto rear tyre to clean tread as you ride!). folding kickstart lever. Wide footrests. Alloy fabricated rear mudguard. Alloy central oil tank. All engine parts were vapour blasted and all nuts bolts are stainless or titanium. Fabricated stainless gearbox adjuster. Alloy wheel spindles front and rear. alloy ROCKSHOCKS to the rear. Renthal Alloy side stand. All parts are new or fully recon.
The frame/chassis is one of only two ever made. custom made by Shane Lockley who is an experienced British winner of many Classic/Sammy Miller trials & SSDT competitor. The original bike was featured in Classic Dirt Bike Magazine & tested by Mick Andrews.
I have a copy of the magazine which will go with the bike.
The bike is as light weight as you are going to get from a "big single" at only 104.8 kg! ( 231 lbs ).
