BSA A65 Cafe Racer

Great usable classic. BSA A65. Davimead 750cc conversion ( now SRM I believe ).
Very quick for a 52 year old. starts first kick every time. runs well.
I have owned the bike for 7 or 8 years and had loads of fun. a real head turner wherever it goes.
Good points
Boyer ignition. rear sets and clip ons. hooded headlight and alloy tank. quick release rear hub. single race seat.

Head skimmed a few months ago and head gasket replaced. valves reseated. de-coked. carbs stripped cleaned and tappets done as part of the work done. new silencer and a change of battery ( the old one leaked and etched the silencer didn't feel right to sell it with a tatty silencer ).
Bad points this is not concourse. it is a sound. every day. usable classic bike. The Tacho is not attached. just for show. but will work. The rear brake could do with new shoes. it does not have great stopping power. Gear lever return spring could do with being replaced ( I have a replacement but no time). the down shifting requires a knack easily learned and works perfectly well.
Genuine reason for selling this and soon a couple of others. ( Daughter and Son need house deposits ). 1948 Velocette Mac 350 and a 1973 Triumph 650. Bonneville T120v. to be advertised here soon.
