'R' bikes are truly unique and highly collectible. Finished in the distinctive Troy Bayliss livery, this bike produces a massive 186 HP using race kit parts. It features a full Termignoni race exhaust system and has been fitted with new tires.

The instrumentation is a MotoGP-derived digital unit. Suspension includes an Öhlins TTXR single rear shock with fully adjustable Öhlins forks at the front. The 1098R is equipped with true competition-level traction control.

Fuel injection is managed by a Marelli electronic system. The bike rides on five-spoke forged light alloy wheels and features a dry multiplate clutch operated hydraulically. The ECU has been reconfigured with mapping to suit the racing exhaust.
