Description
Due to an impending house move from Sheffield to the East Coast. I will be selling my collection of classic motorcycles that were intended to be my pension fund (i am not a trader). The first one is this very nice BSA 650 Lightning. The bike is not a project. its a perfectly good running bike in good condition and MOT'd for the road. I have taken it out of its shed. (charged the battery first) cleaned the plugs. put a gallon of fresh petrol in it. tickled the carbs and it started within three kicks with no choke and was ticking over within a minute without revving. The bike was MOT'd last June and i was going to ride it last summer to the Sheffield Vintage bike club meetings at Swallownest Minors Welfare Club. but ended up starting a business venture in Mablethorpe (hence the move). I will describe the condition as very good but with a few imperfections of the chrome the worst of which is photographed on the rear mudguard back light area. the wheel rims are a little pitted in a few places but really not bad at all. The glass is cracked on rev counter. So. here we have a really nice good condition Lightning that's on the road but still has room for long term improvement and all for modest money.
You can view the bike in Sheffield.
I will accept a deposit of £200 via Paypal but the balance needs to be cleared funds prior to collection because of the fees. Many thanks.
