1937 Norton CS1 500cc OHC Pre War Vintage Single, Good Runner

1937 Norton CS1. 500cc overhead cam single.
None matching numbers and not registered. This bike starts easy and runs great. sounds fantastic. no undue noises or smoke. Its been in deep storage since the late 50s and has only just been unearthed yesterday. Ex-main Norton dealers mechanics bike. Correct tinware throughout. nice patina. original tank etc. yet despite the lay up it appears to be still in very good mechanical order. The engine and frame both left the factory as genuine CS1 with correct dolls head gearbox. This bike has good news written all over it. Very rare for these to come to the market. The wheels and guards have had a lick of black paint so look fresher than the rest of the bike but are absolutely original items. This bike is for sale needing light re-commissioning. Basically you could service it and use it as it is. or you could go in for a full restoration. Study the pictures. they say a lot more than I can. This is the real McCoy. a genuine barn find from back in the day and has never been offered for sale on the open market before.
