1995 Harley-Davidson Road King, Carbed Evo with 6-speed Baker gearbox

The time has come to sell my much loved and improved upon 1995 Road King. I have owned it for almost 6 years. its done 27k original miles and im the 2nd owner from new (previous owner registered it in his and his company's name).
In the time that I have owned it I have upgraded many aspects of the bike to improve it in many ways. This bike rides and handles a dream and is a pleasure to get on and ride up and down the country and into Europe.
The bike has had many upgrades to more modern Harley parts including front end. brakes switchgear etc. I have done this to improve the bike whilst allowing spares like pads etc. to be obtained easily. Don't mistake these changes for crash damage or similar. The bike has never been involved in any sort of accident or damage of any sort. merely updated to improve the general ability of the bike. With the Suspension upgrades that have been made to this bike it is very stable at all speeds while still being comfortable.
As you can see this bike has wanted for nothing over the years. its been serviced by myself (ex mechanic) yearly no matter of mileage covered. Anything that's ever needed it gets and only good quality parts and oils have been used!
It will come with boxes of spare parts that I have removed or obtained over the years including front spot lights and mounting bar. indicators. spare gaskets. double seat. front crash bar. original lids. original front and rear suspension.

All the reliability and construction quality of a mid 90's EVO Road king that will increase in value yearly. with the power. handling and braking of a modern bike.


Upgrades I have made are as follows
2006 fork legs with 1" axle and 4 piston brakes with floating discs and braided lines. Improves front end stiffness and allows the fitment of newer stock Harley 4 piston brakes over the old single piston brakes that were originally fitted. 21" DNA front wheel black spokes chrome hub and rim - I have the original 16" front wheel and a tyre along with the 3/4" axle and brass spacers needed to mount it in the 1" forks should you wish to revert. Progressive nitrogen cartridge inserts in the front forks. Massive increase in front end feel and stability Stock springs also included. 2006 switchgear. mastercylinder and clutch perch etc. fitted using original Harley plugs so no chopped wires etc. Makes the hand controls look more modern and in line with the rest of the bike. 14" fat mini apes with internal wiring. Stage 2 Engine work. has had the heads flowed with bigger valves etc. by Alex @ fastlane and is running a EV27 cam. Has oodles of power should you require it. more bhp/torque than a stock 103" Twin Cam. Base gaskets were replaced when the heads where done and the barrels checked and bases machined for flatness etc.
Still running the original CV carb jetted to suit was set up on a dyno. Roland Sands Design high flow air filter. Hi-4E fully programmable and adjustable electronic ignition system. running with a screaming eagle coil and leads La Pera single seat as well as the original dual pillow seat. Baker 6 speed gearbox cassette running in the original case. this is a OD6 gearbox meaning first 5 gears are the same ratio as stock and 6 is set for cruising meaning no loss of power in the lower gears like some 6 speed gearboxes. Drops the RPM when sitting on motorways etc. saving fuel and stress on the motor. Luggage boxes have had the official HD bag extensions added for a better lower look Progressive Bagger brace fitted. additional engine mount to improve stability. Rear mudguard guard has been shaved of all lights and the rear hoop to tidy up the look of the back. Running lights fitted into the frame ends. Stop and tail LED's in the bags. very bright! Can turn the running lights in the bags on or off as you wish and just have brake lights working if needed. StreetGlide rear mudguard surround with indicators mounted in it Quick detach docking kit fitted. I have a tour pack mount that I have made into a luggage rack (more useful than the official rack) Hagon Nitro Stainless fully adjustable and re-buildable shocks fitted less than 5k ago. Vance and Hines True Duals Headers with slash cut Vance and Hines end cans Memphis Shades batwing fairing with integrated HogTunes speakers/amp and usb charger. Quick Detach. takes less than a couple of minutes to take on or off and comes with two different length screens. HogTunes speaker lids fitted with a pair of Pioneer 6x9 speakers and a mini amp (fitted inside one of the boxes) Also original plain lids included also painted to match so you can swap if wanted. The sounds system is LOUD! and can be heard with a full face helmet easily at legal speeds!

The bike had a full paint job 2 years ago (was previously black). its painted in Burnt Orange with a matt laquer applied. Its a stock Nissan colour so parts can be re-painted easily if need be.

when I first bought the bike I was doing lots of long distance riding and put 10k miles on it over a couple of years. since then work and family doesn't give me the time to enjoy it so the mileage has dropped heavily over the last few years. I also now have a second older Harley that I am using.
The music system fitted is very loud and can be hooked up together so that the front fairing speakers and bag speakers are all connected. There is nothing like cruising on a sunny day with your favorite tunes. I will include if wanted a iPod Nano 3rd gen (can be used with gloves on which is most useful). It can also easily be removed in a matter of minutes if its not wanted.
Will consider a PX/swap for a shovel/pan or ironhead or any older Harley (pre 80's preferred) projects or complete bikes.
