Moto Guzzi Super Alche 1947 500cc single (Bacon slicer)

Moto Guzzi "Super Alche," manufactured in 1947. 500cc single open flywheel "bacon slicer." Owned for six years. I bought the bike from a well-known Guzzi enthusiast, now sadly deceased—Doug Barker.

I have ridden it in the past and had it MOT'd, though it has now lapsed. It really is great fun! This is truly a bike for the genuine enthusiast.

As for the bike's condition, I hope the pictures show it well. In my opinion, it is neither pristine nor an "oily rag" but rather very clean and genuine for its age. There is some history included, as well as leg shields (not pictured).

The bike came without the flywheel cover, but I have seen them on eBay. Imported and UK registered in 1982.
