Vintage 1927 Douglas model EW

A proper vintage class machine eligible for the Banbury run and other vintage events This is a 1927 Douglas 350 cc flat twin model EW. The previous owner passed away 6 years ago and the bike has hardly been touched since then .it was last used on the road in 2009.When it was moved. It's been on sorn during its laid up years.
Quite a rare machine think there are about a couple of hundred worldwide surviving, they were sporty bikes good for around 60mph and the 8 in brakes were better than average for their time when set up properly.It is an older restoration and some recommissioning will be needed Paintwork is pretty good, the nickel plating has all but gone so plenty of scope to improve,Some cables will need replacing .loads of compression and gears select fine... period carbide lighting set .It is on a V5c with age related reg number BF 4841.
