Description
1958 Harley-Davidson FLH Panhead Panhead engine Vin 58FLH5589. 32,182 original miles. Original paint and engine, this motorcycle is a survivor!
Motorcycle was gone through in 2015 and serviced, during which new tires were installed, replaced rear master cylinder, rebuild rear brake cylinder, replaced ignition coil, carburetor service, and general service to be made road worthy.
History to the motorcycle: This was a one owner motorcycle belonging to a gentleman who last regularly rode it in 1978, then placed it in storage. It was stored until approximately 2014 when the gentleman then removed it from storage and brought it to the local Harley-Davidson dealer in Albany to be made roadworthy. During approximately 2014-2015 the motorcycle was gone over by a certified and very experienced Harley-Davidson technician who preformed the above mentioned services. The motorcycle was test ridden on several occasions by both the lead technician and current owner before being placed in climate controlled storage at the shop. Unfortunately the original owner has since passed and the motorcycle was purchased by the current owner (now former owner of the dealership having revitalized the motorcycle). The motorcycle was then later transferred to a private residence where it again has been placed in a climate controlled storage.
Please feel free to ask any questions or request any additional photos. Please see all pictures, the motorcycle is in very good "original survivor" condition. That being said please keep in mind it is a 1958 and obviously will have wear, blemishes, fading, etc.
Motorcycle is currently placed in storage status with the majority of fluids, oils, etc. removed as to prevent any leakage. For serious buyers the owner is willing prep the motorcycle to be run for viewings, videos, etc.
Buyer is responsible for any in all pick up, shipping, transport, etc.
