1947 Indian in Black

Up for sale is a matching numbers 1947 Indian Chief with only 1500 miles since restoration was completed by Bob Stark. This is the best color combination of this bike. At the time of purchase this bike wasn't even for sale and it was in Mr Stark's private collection at his museum. I went there to buy another Indian motorcycle but this one caught my eye and I was very persistent and it took me a few visits to actually have Bob agree to sell me the bike. I've owned this motorcycle since 2008, the bike is very well maintained, runs as it should, very low mileage, gearbox shifts smoothly, the timing adjustment & shifter are on the left and the throttle is on the right, this was a preference to a vast majority of riders, always babied and stored indoors.
Comes with a brand new CHUM-ME seat ( 2 seater) as well as the passenger extension pegs.
