Description
1947 Harley Davidson Knucklehead Bobber. Not trying to make a big sales pitch but this is probably the best running Knuckle I've had. The motor is 88 inches- very strong and fast but not too excessive- keeping it durable and reliable. Complete new S&S bottom end with original one year only cam cover, original heads including Baisley roller rockers and custom made rocker tins. Clear Washington state 1947 Harley title. This bike was built to ride comfortably, not spend your time kicking and sweating. It has an electric start with a Harley 5-speed transmission, foot shift, hand clutch, and Primo 3" belt drive. Chromed original Harley XA springer front end with re-chromed original Flanders risers, chromed original brake assembly, and original star hub laced to 21" rim. The rear brake is also chromed original with original star hub laced to a 16" rim and new Avon tire. This bike was originally an old raked chopper- the frame is an original 47 bullneck that had the usual chopper stuff done- cut off tabs, brackets, molding at joints, etc., and has been changed back to stock rake. Please don't bomb me with "correctness" questions- this is a bobber, not a 100 point restoration. It has only been ridden enough for break-in and tuning- starts easy and runs great- needs no repair. Plenty of clear pictures showing all details, modifications and accessories- it's a beautiful motorcycle and the value should be obvious. Sorry, I do not accept offers to end the auction. Here is a link to a youtube video showing it starting and running- https://youtu.be/NU5GYKxTayY - If the link does not work, let me know and I will send it to you. The bike can be picked up here in the Seattle area by the shipping company of your choice. I will not ship.
