1935 Sunbeam 95L / R Motorcycle Restoration Project

1935 Sunbeam 95L, it comes with a close ratio gearbox and a 493cc motor, it is capable of speeds of 85mph, which in its day was quick. Upon purchase we decided to restore this L model to a R model, the L version had lights and the R was a race version, both versions used the same basic bike but there were a number of differences between the 2 models. In the pictures included is a picture of this bike when we picked it up, it comes with a V5C, this shows one former keeper. Work completed Cylinder head rebuilt, including new valve guides, valve springs All the engine and cam chest bushes have been renewed The frame and some other parts have been painted Various parts have been re chromed The engine work was completed by Formhalls Vintage and Racing New Parts Various levers Soup bowl speedo Friction disc's Clamps Various second hand parts Clutch plates Drawings for the R rear sets When we got this bike there were some parts missing, the main parts are. Carburettor Magneto Parts of the clutch Parts of the cush drive Lots of money has been spent to get this bike to this position, there is still lots of work to complete and its being sold as a restoration project.
