Sunbeam Model 14 Sports 1937 Classic Motorcycle

Rare Sunbeam Sport Single in running "oily rag" condition to ride or restore.
This unusually unmolested example of Sunbeam's 1937 Sports 250 is in Barn find condition. having been stored since the early 1970s. This machine is surprisingly original throughout. with the exception of the front mudguard which is from another model but has been with this bike for a long time. The engine has been carefully examined and re-commissioned without disturbing anything which is working. The result is a strikingly original motorcycle in full working order; charging well on the old lighting system; which is offered for sale without the usual cleaning and polishing! Old and new log books testify to matching numbers and original registration.
The V5 and V5C state no previous owners but the old log book shows two. The last owner acquired the bike in 1972. and the tax disc on it expires 1973.
This is a rare Sports model with the chrome tank (painted over but clearly visible) and would have had a high level exhaust from new. Last of the old Sunbeams made in the move-to-AMC year. so very rare and unusual. A truly lovely old thing.
