Seller notes: This is an abandoned project that needs someone with some enthusiasm and the knowhow to get this wonderful old girl back up and firing again! The previous owner had performed a very amateur restoration of the bike as you see it.. The wheels have been professionally rebuilt and seem good as is the frame and forks. The paintwork is hand brushed or maybe rattle can job which in my opinion will want taking off and starting again. The engine will want fully rebuilding. The gearbox is a later possibly WD era 4 speed foot change unit which has been adapted into the frame by way of unfinished fabricated rear engine plates. There are also a number of smaller items missing so please study pictures well as what you see is what you buy.

Description
Vintage pre war 1932 Royal Enfield model C350cc side valve motorcycle project.
This is an abandoned project from a previous owner that needs somebody passionate and knowledgeable to take it on and get it going again.
No documentation with the bike sadly.
Engine number - C433, Frame number - 31411.
Frame and forks are in good order and both wheels look to have been professionally rebuilt using the original Enfield hubs.
The engine will need a complete rebuild, but all the timing gears are present inside as well as the piston. Magdyno is also complete but untested.
The gearbox is a later possibly WD era 4 speedfoot change unit that has been adapted into the frame via some fabricated unfinished mounting plates.
The rest of the bike parts that you see seem sound enough but have had rather a horrible amateur paint job done to them, so in my opinion will want stripping back to bare metal and starting again.
There are some parts missing such as the primary chain cover and various other smalls so please do study the pictures well.
Also included (See last picture) is a small box of parts which has the footrest bar and footrest pegs which will need fitting still.
There is also another petrol tank I'm including which is a slightly later foot change type tank without the holes for the hand changegate, though it is very rusty and will want lots of work.
Overall, this will make a lovely pre war girder fork machine but just needs the time and knowhow putting in to get her right again.
If you have any questions or need any other pictures please do message me, and I will do my best to help where I can.
Bank transfer please.
Collection to be made in person. as I need the space and don't want it sitting round for weeks on end.
If you absolutely cannot collect yourself in person, I can recommend Chas Mortimer who specialise in motorcycle transportation and delivery. If this is the case, then the full balance is to be paid via Bank transfer.
Location is Chingford, North London / Essex border so no Congestion charge zone here but there is a Low Emission Zone.
