2006 Yamaha YZF-R

Up for sale is this unique and limited production Black Raven R1! The black Raven edition was available in 2005-2006 only. I am the original owner and purchased new from Yamaha dealership in November 2005. We are a huge motorcycle enthusiast family and care for our bikes like no other. This R1 is about as close to new as it gets. Always garage kept in the personal collection, never laid down or crashed, never tracked or drag raced, always serviced on time and detailed regularly throughout the years. The factory break in procedure was followed to a T, as a result, the bike retains all the original HP specs. In fact, the bike performs better and outruns friends that have similar R1's with built engines. Amsoil SAE 10w-40 every 3k miles. At every oil change, i removed the plastic covers to detail and clean the back sides of covers as well as clean engine areas that are normally not accessible. i just invested a little over $1,200 to bring the bike up to service perfection: new Michelin Road 5 tires front to rear, tires still show nipples and need to be carefully broken in, new factory yamaha battery, new spark plugs, chain cleaning along with sprocket cleaning and lubrication, fresh oil and filter, fresh brake fluid and more. The bike features lots of tasteful upgrades: candy apple powder coated brackets and fasteners, custom painted gas tank plastic, custom painted rear fender, turn signal delete front and rear, upgraded Yoshimura exhaust, upgraded windscreen, custom hid xenon light kit, custom painted halo rings around headlamps. I have all original components to bike including exhaust, rear turn signal assembly, everything that was included when new. All books, 2 keys and service literature. I am asking a fair amount for this R1 and will keep the bike as a collector piece if asking price is not met.
