Velocette MAC 1958 Excellent condition for its age and has been well looked after. Complete with VO5 log book · Wheels have been built with English Chrome rims and stainless steel spokes· Magneto has been converted to an electronic ignition (for easy starting) · New Amal Carburettor from Grove Classics· Downpipe has been re-chromed · New fishtail exhaust· New battery with optimiser.
Purchased approx. 2012 as a good running bike. It starts and runs fine. There are a few small oil leaks mainly from the chain case, a new seal has been purchased from Grove Classics, but needs fitting, as has a complete stainless steel engine bolt set, these will be included in the sale. It does wet sump when stood for a while so will either need a new non-return valve sorting or tap fitting Will need some commissioning, so either ride as it is or restore into a new bike.
