1950 BSA ZB32 Goldstar (rep), excellent runner, V5C

1950 BSA ZB32GS rep 350cc, sweet runner with V5C.
Here is a very nicely restored and very sweet running genuine BSA ZB32 Goldstar engine in a B31 plunger frame.
The bike starts easily and sounds fantastic. It rides perfectly, excellent gears and clutch and brisk acceleration! Speedo is working and the charging system is working well, regulated through a modern solid state regulator. Handling is superb but front brake is weak / wooden, maybe bedding in new linings. Rear brake is excellent. This is a very easy bike to get along with, easy to start, easy to get on the stand and good sidestand. Very rideable & manageable little bike. The bike comes with V5C doc, registration is NSL 335 (cannot be transferred to another vehicle) Date of registration is 26th September 1950, so this is probably a 1951 year model. Frame number is ZB31.S.11120, Engine number ZB.32.GS.3079 These are genuine factory stampings and match the V5C.
The bike is registered as an Historic Vehicle therefor road tax is free and it is MOT exempt.
Cosmetically the bike is very very nicely turned out. Enamel on the frame is superb. Tinware and tank also done to high standard. Mudguards are stainless. Wheel rims are as new flangeless alloys with plated type spokes all as new. Front Tyre is as new Avon SM ribbed (21”), rear is 19” Dunlop TT100 both are practically as new. There is no fin damage on the all alloy motor.
The centre stand is good and so is the very useful sidestand.
Saddle is very good, Exhaust practically as new.
All in all this is a lovely bike to ride and enjoy. Very well set up to start easily and enjoy that genuine Goldstar power! Selling as an excellent runner, ready to ride and enjoy for classic purposes.
