1937 Indian Chief, Blue

1937 Indian Chief, started life as a 1937 standard scout. The standard scout is the same as a chief except it was a 45 cu in motor. I installed a 1946 Chief motor. The motorcycle has not been ridden since it was built. Engine rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, all the bearings clutch, chains tires and rims are all new. This was done in 2000. This Indian has a Tom Fusco starter, so it is electric start. The pin striping and the Indian decals are hand painted. This motorcycle has been a static display since 2000. It has the pig sticker shifter, but i have a box of spares that goes with the bike and I have the transmission parts to move the shifter up to the left side of the tank. The left side tank has a small bubble in the paint, I have the matching paint in Base coat clear coat to spot that in. It's been sitting 22 years so the carb will have to be dialed in.
