Description
Incredible bike. The TR6 is a Bonneville with one carb basically, hence easier to tune.
I just purchased from 2nd owner in November (the first owner was the seller's cousin, they had it stored in a garage for years). I immediately sent it to Brit bike specialists, Sixth Street Specials in NYC to have it tuned up and makes some restorative changes and upgrades.
And after all that I realized that I'm not cut out to ride a right side shift. Rode it a couple of times, starts great (added electronic ignition), rides great, but sticking with my modern Royal Enfields for now.
The price represents the value of this pre oil in frame Triumph and the work 6th Street did. I paid 9k for it and had $2600 of work done, but willing to take a bit of a loss.
Walkaround / start up video (made 2/18/23 40 degrees out, after over a month of storage, so pretty good start up) : https://vimeo.com/800185282

DISCLAIMERS:
-ONLY the rear/foot brake activates brake light, BUT the rest of the electricals (low / high beams, etc.) are operate as they should
- Tried to note some of the wear and tear the bike has accrued over the years; namely some paint scratches; but just noticed the headlight has some scratches and a dent on the right side
- Also note rust, some old screws, bolts etc. This is not been fully restored by any means but great work done by 6th St
**BRAND NEW REGISTRATION**
I spent 2 1/ 2 miserable hours at the DMV getting this thing properly papered so you don't have to! Bike was sold to me without at title. In NY vehicles made before 1973 only require a transferable registration; registration is in my name and would be transferred to you (please see picture).
