If you know the history 1946 was the first year of M20 model after end of second World War. BSA made the civilian version of M20 for sale to general public. It is estimated BSA made more than 125000 M20 bikes for war duty. But very few civilian model M20s were made. You see ex-war M20s for sale every now and then. But the civilian model is hard to find.
Correct engine and frame numbers for civilian model for year 1946. Frame: XM20-2833. Engine: XM20-2034.
Actual mileage unknown. Sold as-is. No warranty expressed or implied. No guarantees.
Buyer to arrange shipping. Shipping to most states should be about 600. I know one good shipper. I can also meet within reasonable distance if you like. Storage no problem after payment is clear.
I have been riding British bikes for 30 years. I think the M20 model is as British as it gets. I have owned several M20s over the years. But I have seen few post-war M20.
I am a member of Antique Motorcycle Club of America. I can provide references from club officers and also from St. Paul Harley Davidson shop. This BSA is in good home with my other collection. I want it gone to a good home. I might sell few other bikes. Please ask what you are looking for. Give me a ring to talk.
So folks here it is. A rare BSA in beautiful condition. If you have done restorations you know how costly it is to restore. This BSA is ready to ride or display. Bike looks even nicer when you see it in front of you. Thanks for checking.
