Here we have a copy (not an exact copy) of a GMS (Geoff Monty special) later the Monard built on a BSA lightning oil in the frame frame
With a 250cc BSA short stroke 72x60mm engine built in the 1960/70s. 1-3/16" GP carb, Lucas magneto, standard BSA gearbox, the engine was built using a custom built short stroke crank by Peter Stuart Marshal from Donnington his name is stamped on the engine cases.
Rolling chassis Custom built closely to the Monard design with alloy seat and petrol tank, rebuilt alloy rims, leading link forks, TLS front brake, "Monard was a combination of Geoff Monty and Dudley Ward's surnames around 1964/65 both were good racers, and used various engines Triumph, Norton, and i think as the GMS BSA.
The bike will need some recommissioning and isn't running at the moment, although it's been in warm and dry garage, and is currently on "Castrol R".
