1979 Honda CBX, in Silver, VIN CB12010692

Up for Sale is my 1979 Honda CBX 1000 Super Sport. The previous owner owned it since 1988 and I bought it about 2 1/2 years ago. Since in my ownership it has undergone a comprehensive restoration, including carbs completely rebuilt, all metal carb brackets and mountings were re-plated as new. Carbs were fully synchronized and balanced. New carb inlet tubes, new throttle and choke cables, clutch cable replaced, new 7mm fuel hoses, NOS Pet cock, new NOS alternator cover, NOS crankshaft end covers, and Cam end covers. Valve clearances have been adjusted (twice). new spark plugs all fluids replaced, new 6 into 6 Pipemaster stainless exhaust system. Clutch rebuilt and upgraded rubber dampers installed to eliminate clutch rattle. new brakes, Dunlop tires, NOS Euro sport handlebars kit including switches, brake hoses etc. New O ring chain and rear sprocket. Clutch cover polished and lacquered to preserve the gloss shine. This is a very well sorted CBX that runs and rides beautifully. Gauge cluster was refurbished by TIMS CBX and only shows around 210 miles. There original gauge cluster with 26000 miles was exchanged back to TIMS. I have a phot of the old gauges showing the mileage if interested. The gas tank, front fender, tail section and side panels were all refinished by TIMS, with new decals. They did a flawless paint job! HID headlight bulb installed. Too many parts to mention. New seat cover also. Includes owners and handbook and tool kit and like new Corbin Gunfighter seat.
