This item is an Original A10S BSA Spitfire of which 240 in 1957 the first year of production. They were manufactured and shipped to Hap Alzena specifications all exported to San Francisco California for Desert and Drag Racing. None were sold in the UK. Hap Alzena was the BSA Importer and specifier in the US. Has BSA Owners Dating Certificate and The Vintage Motorcycle Club Certificate confirming original Frame No.CA7A 357 and Engine No CA10SR *** left the factory together in July 1957.
In the first year of manufacture Spitfires were only fitted with STC2 four speed Gearbox, Gold Star Wheels, Gold star Brakes, Low Slung Exhaust Pipes and a Duel seat. No lights, silencers or air filter were fitted. Comes with V5 Registration Document in my name. Fitted with silencers, speedo spin on oil filter prop and centre stands for road use. All can be removed to put it back to off road use. Viewing recommended. Collection only.
