1977 Kawasaki KZ1000, in Diamond Sky Blue

Up for your consideration is my 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000, built in the first week of production of the first KZ1000 model in 1976.
Very low VIN # 00282 matching engine # 000296. I've never seen one with a lower VIN #.
This bike was completely restored from the frame up 9 years ago. Every part of the bike was either restored or replaced. The top end of the motor was built by Fast By Gast in New York. They did a rebore, skimmed the head, re-seated the valves and put in new valve stem seals. I have the paperwork from Fast By Gast, it'll go with the bike. The motor has Dyna ignition coils and pickups and 34 mm Mikuni flat slide carburetors. I sent the wheels out to Buchanan Spoke and Rim in Azusa, California, they re-spoked them with stainless steel spokes and polished up the hubs to a mirror like finish. Both brake calipers were rebuilt and new brake shoes were installed. Bike has new tires, a new chain and sprockets. Bike was professionally repainted back to the original Diamond Sky Blue color that it came out with when it was new. The paintwork is flawless. Everything on this bike works as it should and it runs and rides perfectly. All it needs is a rider.
Also included in the sale are all the original parts, airbox, exhaust system, carbs and the actual correct complete original tool kit, owner's manual and the sales brochure that came with this bike when it was new.
Title is clear and in my name.
Full payment is required within seven days by cash at pick up, check or bank to bank wire transfer is also okay. Once the payment clears my account the bike can be picked up.
Buyer is responsible for shipping. I can assist with the loading. I can store the bike for the buyer if needed while shipping is being arranged.
