Harley-Davidson 1969 FLH Generator Shovelhead 23K original miles

1969 Harley-Davidson FLH Electraglide in Candy Apple Red. Original Paint.

1969 was the last year for the Panhead or Generator bottom shovelhead. This bike was built in the last 3 months of 1969 when Harley was under the ownership of AMF.

I have owned this bike for the last 22 years when it was imported from Florida. The bike is completely standard apart from the saddle. Also the pillion foot pegs which have been replaced with running boards. Everything else is completely original. I also have a comfort saddle which is included in the sale. The bike has covered 23k miles from new. all original paintwork. Don't expect a showroom condition bike as it is 44 years old. But for its age. it is in excellent condition.

Bear in mind this bike won't ride anything like a modern Harley. It has a cable operated front drum brake and hydraulic rear drum brake.

My reason for selling is I have a house project to finish off and the bike is just not being used. The bike is currently located at my parents house in Oxford.
An excellent investment well above any ISAs or savings plans! Bikes like this just do not come up that often!

I was recently advised by a classic Harley specialist in London that the value would be in excess of 12k.
