Norton Commando 'S' 1969

Right. so the time has come... I've got to sell my beloved Norton. Not an easy decision. not only because I'm attached but also because it's an appreciating asset. It just hasn't got the use over the last year it deserves. I have a new job now which doesn't give me the time to tinker.

Bike runs well and sounds fantastic. Engine was professionally rebuilt two years ago. as a results it's very mechanically quiet and runs very well. Quite nippy too!

Ok so bike details;

1969 Norton Commando S 750 cc. matching numbers and comes with NOC certificate of authentication. 1 years MOT and tax. Engine recently rebuilt with New Hepolite pistons Honed cylinders, New amal carbs, New valves and valve springs, Crank ground and all corresponding shells changed, New crank bearings, All new seals and gaskets, New alternator and stator. electronic ignition (still have mechanical points if required), Akront rims, Avon venom tyres, OEM Andover Norton exhaust silencers (Norton stamped at the back of the cone), Forks recently refurbished. Bike will come with original Glass Fibre Tank. not used because the modern ethanol fuels will destroy it. Bike fitted with steel tank. Bike will also come with a set of ‘S' type pipes and heat shields. very expensive ! See pictures. Will add more pics of it in ‘S' type configuration when I get a chance. Also bike will come with centre stand.

Bike condition is good. However it has been ridden and enjoyed so don't expect to win a concourse competition on it. Bike always receives compliments where ever it goes. Except when the exhausts set off car alarms J.

Bike has been looked after by EEK Norton Racing and Aspire Classics (Pete The Restorer off the Motorbike Show). so if you need a reference I'm sure they wont mind.
