Moto Morini 3 1/2 3.5 Sport 350cc 1978 Perfect Restoration

For sale is a freshly restored 1978 Moto Morini 3 1/2 Sport.
This is a fantastic example of the rare 350cc V-Twin offering by the renowned Italian manufacturer.
The bike really needs to be seen to be appreciated as a lot of hard work has gone into it. The 3 1/2 Sport has developed a cult following and is known for it's superb handling and class-leading braking (for the 1970's).
The motorcycle has been painstaking restored over the last 12 months. The previous owners undertook the bulk of the work after finding the motorcycle in a barn. The work included stripping the frame and metal work back to bare and repainting. They then re-assembled the bike with many new parts (backed up the receipts) including; new exhaust system. fork stanchions. fork seals. lights. rear shocks. fuel tank cap. footrests. seat cover. battery. cambelt. tyres and tank and side panel logos.
Since taking on the Moto Morini we've completed the restoration by overhauling the carburetors. front brake hydraulic system and replacing the air filters. The receipts for the parts bought for the restoration total to over £1500.
The V5 for the bike is present and correct and the bike has an MOT till July 2014. This bike rides and sounds as good as it looks and will make the new owner a lovely little classic bike to enjoy next summer. These bikes are fairly rare and are only going up in value.
