Greeves Road Racer Special 24RAS Silverstone 1963 Vintage Classic Competition

On offer is a genuine 1963 Greeves Competition Road Racer. Model 24RAS. rom the first batch which. believe where called Special later to be designated Silverstone.
Its a 250cc two stroke single four speed.
The bike comes with a Large Capacity I O M Isle of Man petrol tank and a new repro Greeves style race fairing with screen.
This model was fitted with a Speedometer driven from the rear wheel. ilst the speedo fitted is the correct period its not working! so it might be the wrong ratio or drive. The obvious incorrect part is the Carb which is the later Amal Concentric rather than the Amal GP. I did go to a Vintage Race meeting and the carb fitted is being used. We have run the bike down the lanes. Its pretty impressive. but it will need setting up. Call for more info or to arrange viewing. This is my brothers bike who not have internet.
