Description
The bike has covered 4000 miles since an extensive restoration costing around £8000.
Ex Birmingham police Interpol. Restored as interstate model.
Period Avon fairing/craven rack and panniers/export h/bars/magura control levers/heated grips/twin Lucas/horns/interstate 5 half gallon steel tank.
New head bearings/fork stanchions/sliders/springs/damper/rods/caps.
front rim & spokes: s/s Devon WM2 x 19in. Avon roadrider 90/90 x 19in
rear rim & spokes: s/s Devon WM3 x 18in. Avon roadrider 110/90/18in.
Grimeca 4LS drum front brake. chrome and s/s fittings.
Lucas 180w three phase alternator/podtonics regulator/wiring loom/gel battery/blade type fuse holder.
Converted to negative earth/Pazon surefire electronic ignition.
Kawasaki switchgear/cibie 60w halogen headlamp/T140 style rear light.
Frame stripped. braced by rear shock mounts and hand painted with 'International' primer and black gloss enamel. fairing and side panels in two pack. tank as bought. believed dream machine paint. later version side and centre stands.
Hagon shocks. with adjustable damping & s/s shrouds. Grab handle by left shock for ease of lifting bike onto stand.
Norvil rearsets. pillion pegs modded to avoid feet touching.
New 750 gearbox cradle. but 850 MK3 isolastic vernier adjusters front and rear. MK3 headsteady with spring. thicker side plates made and fitted.
New swinging arm bushes. MK3 spindle. Braced with half clamps to prevent spindle twisting.
Engine rebuilt with +20 pistons/new big ends/superblend drive side main bearing/HD ball timing side.
new piston rings/valves/guides/springs/rocker arms smoothed and lightly polished.
Con rods polished/cylinder head and main exhaust port threads helicoiled/ bronze exhaust nuts. stay tight!
Norvil 2-1 carb adaptor/amoal MK1 sleeved/new jets/needle/float/O-rings/gasket.
New primary drive chain & clutch drum bearings. Std clutch. does not slip (breather on g/box prevents pressure build up that forces oil along pushrod tunnel to clutch plates) Twin adjusters for primary chain.
New gearbox bushes/springs/bearings/seals. Outer cover converted to lipped seals. Three small bushes under sleeve gear. shim behind to prevent clutch circlip wearing bushes.
Breather on top of box inner cover/21T gearbox sprocket. 'O Ring' rear chain conversion.
Norvilo magnetic sump plug/strong magnet on rod in oil tank.
MK3 kick start lever/Chrome exhaust pipes. keihan s/s silencers. internal baffles as standard Norton. no rejecting.
New rear brake shoes. S/S mudguards.
Spare cable kit and manuals included.
MOT till March.
