Triton Cafe Racer (Triumph / Norton)

Manx inspired Triton Cafe Racer.
Comprising:
1957 pre unit T110 big bearing engine. alloy head. retaining single carb. SRM clutch. with belt primary drive. Lucas competition magneto. 6V dynamo. Triumph slickshift gearbox. 1960 slimline featherbed. equipped with short roadholders. and Hagon shock absorbers. 5 gallon alloy fuel tank. which is internally baffled and vented. monza cap. 1 gallon alloy oil tank. centrally mounted. monza capsingle seat. with cut out for oil fillerswept back exhausts. with short goldie silencersrear set footrests.
Built as a Triton in 2002. V5 is in my name. Registration is 3 letters and 3 numbers. not transferable. (last MOT has 2 advisories. slight play in front wheel bearing. and front tyre worn close to legal limit - both these have been replaced).
Historic vehicle. so road tax is free.
I have owned the bike since 2010. in which time: fuel tank repainted with Triton logo. incl ethanol proof fuel taps, Speedo (genuine Smiths magnetic) refurbished and calibrated for this machine by A Pople (mileage reset), new twin leading shoe front brake - quality item from RGM, new short gold star type silencers, magneto has new bearings. has been re-shimmed. new fibre drive gear. I have all receipts. MOT's and tax discs since my ownership
Used regularly in the summer months. mainly on cafe runs. classic rides etc.
It is in beautiful condition. and rides well. and sounds awesome! All electrics work fine. including original mechanical regulator/cut out. The bike has just been awoken from its winter sleep. and has been given fresh SAE 40 engine oil.
In 2012 the bike won best classic category. at Ireby classic bike meet. If you have any questions. please ask.
Payment terms are. Cash on collection (within about a week please). Balance can also be paid by cheque. though funds will need to be cleared before the bike is released.
