Norton Commando Motorcycle 1972

Here for sale is my Norton Commando as seen in the pictures

It was manufactured 12 October 1972 and it has matching engine and frame numbers from new and I have paperwork from the Vintage Motorcycle Club to verify this

It wasn't registered until 16 April 1974. so therefore it is an historic vehicle and so tax free

As you can see from the pictures it has had some modifications which makes it more suitable for modern day riding

Norvil 13 inch single disk kit with racing calliper at a cost of £546.90

Also master cylinder was sleeved down which makes for an amazing front brake - 1 finger all that's needed!

Front forks are completely rebuilt with all new internals. new fork stanchions. progressive springs and new oil

Also fitted RGM synchroflex belt drive kit and new clutch - makes the clutch operation very light

Fitted single carb conversion - Mikuni VM34 Carburettor kit from Motocarb - makes for easy starting and good tick over

Electronic ignition also fitted

Have some history. MOT's etc. and original service voucher book

Wheels are original Dunlop with great chrome and new front tyre last year and as new rear tyre

Paintwork is immaculate but would seriously recommend viewing

Bike rides great and pulls like a train with fantastic brakes and amazing acceleration and keeps up with modern traffic no problem

For the purists out there. I have kept all the original parts. carbs. etc. in a box which can be put back on if you want to put it back to original
