Moto Guzzi MK1 Le-Mans

1977 Moto Guzzi MK1 Le-Mans 850. Owned by me for the last 16 years. It's got 71.000 miles on the clock. The V5 is present and in my name.

At 40.000 miles It had new Gilardoni barrels and pistons along with new big and small ends. new valves and the guides were K-Lined. new timing chain and automatic chain tensioner. It has a sump extension. Cliff Jeffries Rec-Ignition with Dyna timing sensors. a brand new battery was fitted last week along with a new Bridgestone BT45 rear tyre. The gear box was overhauled last summer by Nigel at NBS. It has 38mm Marzochhi forks. Hagon shock absorbers and Keihan stainless silencers. There is a rack to go with it which attaches to the red brackets at the rear of the frame The fuel tank was brand new last Easter.

It's in good all round condition but it's no garage queen after having been used regularly for commuting. the seat has a couple of splits in the usual place where they all go. there is a crack in the centre of the screen at the bottom and the pod filters need replacing. the paint on the frame and side panels shows the signs of use that you might expect
