Description
Vincent Comet in nice unrestored condition. The bike starts and runs well, has loads of history, and also features the Dave Hills centre stand. It has sealed-type batteries fitted, along with the buff logbook and V5C.
The bike has a certificate of authenticity from the Vincent Owners Club and includes the original works order, which bears the engineer's signature who built the machine. It also notes the dealer it was consigned to and was tested by a person named Brown, believed to be George Brown—the man behind the Vincent dragster "NERO" and a vehicle tester for Vincent.
This is a matching frame and engine number machine, with most MOTs, some tax discs, and extensive paperwork documenting the machine's history. The bike has won several awards and secured 2nd place in the Best Heavyweight category at the Ardingly Show.
The bike has historic tax status and requires no MOT.
