Vincent Comet 500cc 1950

Here for sale is my 1950 Vincent Comet its been in storage for a while so I have decided to sell it. It requires a bit of recommissioning. This is non matching numbers bike but it runs and has a nice spark from the Mag. It is fitted with valanced alloy rims and a nice original paint tank.

Engine no. F5AB/2A/3006 Crankcase mating no. 26A / 26A
The bike needs a tie down strap and battery for inside the rubber box fitted. It also needs the bottom shroud for one of the spring boxes but these are £40 from VOC spares.
So a mostly complete Vincent Comet that runs.

I could not locate the V5 so I have applied for another so it should arrive in time for the end of the listing.
It is the bikes original number EFV 356.
Was bought from Bonhams Auctions two years ago for £9000 and I have bought most of the extra parts needed to finish so grab a bargain!
Just to confirm the bike has been timed up has a good spark and runs well I have also replaced the corks in the petrol taps and fitted new petrol pipe.
