1972 Egli Vincent Black Shadow, Norvin, Cafe Racer, Custom Classic

Genuine Egli frame EV*** Black Shadow Engine now 1272cc.
Rebuilt by Bob Dunn over 20 years ago and not very many miles since.
Owned for 17 years. V5 Registers the Egli as a 1972 Egli Vincent.
Maxton rear shocks, Ceriani GP Forks with Maxton internals, Ceriani replica magnesium 250 4ls front brake, Ceriani replica 210 rear brake, Smiths 5" digital speedo, Aluminium fuel tank, Dellorto Carbs jetted as per Tery Prince Instruction will need a clean I suspect. However starter clutch needs replacing and will need to be sourced.
The starter motor and clutch mechanism was one of Bob Dunns designs and sadly he is no longer here. We know the starter motor is off a GPZ 900 but don't know what the starter clutch came off (SV650 maybe).
The new owner might want to fit the more stylish Grossett starter.
If you are in the market for an Egli, there can't be too many out there with a genuine frame coupled with a Black shadow engine.
An update on the starter motor issue. The Engineer i use for my bikes now has space in his workshop to source repair/replace the starter clutch.
Brakes are Fontana 250 and 210 front and rear not Ceriani, Red Wine typo.
