Description
Vincent Norton motorcycle. registered as a 'Vinton' in 1964.
The engine is a series C Vincent Black Shadow (Engine number F10AB/1B/7044)
This is fitted in a Norton 'featherbed' frame.
It is fitted with a combined petrol/oil tank in fibreglass.
The engine has two modifications that I can recall. Namely a multi-plate clutch and decompressors.
I used this motorcycle regularly when I put it together in 1964 but it was put away in a dry garage when the tax expired
as I had another motorcycle to use and other projects to pursue.
The engine turns over freely but I have not attempted to start it up.
