MOTO GUZZI V50 500CC Shaft drive V-twin classic Guzzi.

Beautiful v50 Guzzi - so little time to ride and just not enough space. otherwise I'd tuck her away for another 30 years!

Absolutely gorgeous condition. having had approx. £5.000 spent restoring almost every nut and bolt. (many receipts)

Rides totally perfectly. Exhausts are full stainless steel & sound beautiful - turns heads!

In the finest Moto Guzzi colour is really a eye catcher.

Ride / mechanicals are lovely sure and solid. rides - handles and sounds totally smooth and precise.

All controls work just as they should. Clutch. engine. suspension. gearbox. drive etc. - all smooth & correct.

Exact mileage is not known. I guess it had new clocks fitted at some time of the overhaul.

Although - still rides and looks like a 3000 mile Guzzi. (but can-not verify exact mileage)

All major components have been replaced or overhauled. i.e. engine rebuild - smooth and lovely torque.

Inc. valves replaced & recut - runs un-leaded.

Starter. charging. suspension. electrics. carbs (K&N filters) steel brake lines. all re-chromed. nuts bolts.

Everything works correctly & perfect good order. all recalls. chrome etc. perfect.

(one front brake calliper is soft. may need new pads or bleeding. or at worse the calliper might be sticking / possibly needing an overhaul - I've had a quick look and the pistons seem free and clean enough. but the one soft side may need an overhaul now) I am happy to have the brakes overhauled. or reduce the price by £150 which should more than cover any attention required to the 1 soft brake)

Rear brakes and left front are perfect. smooth and powerful.

New battery (just removed for winter trickle charge).

I also have another fully restored original V50 Guzzi engine (don't ask why!) just seemed a nice thing to have in the garage!

Having been meticulously rebuild by an ex TT rider/mechanic. it could go with the bike nicely. Spare restored engine is available for £490.

And also looks as new. but there's nothing wrong with the original one.
