BSA 650cc A65 Star Twin

Reluctantly I am having to sell my lovely BSA 650cc A65 Star Twin

The bike looks lovely and is about as original as can be.

It still runs on 6 volts (Pos earth)

It starts pretty well - though can be temperamental at times ! (Normally a good little 'tickle' of the carb does the trick)

Runs lovely - doesn't miss a beat

The gears need a bit of getting used to.

1st & 2nd are no problem.

To get into 3rd. I have found that a slight touch downward on the lever before shifting up does the trick - the same for 3rd to 4th

Similarly. a slight upward touch before changing down also helps gear changing.

Apart from that. no other problems to report.

The bike has been certified as original and has the BSA Owner's Club Dating Certificate (see last pic)

It is not showroom or concourse condition. but does look nice and is a great retro ride with a beefy British tone to the twin exhausts.
